There are a lot of good reasons to participate in an Erasmus+ project:
It is fundamental for every individual to be part of a community. And it is our main task as “people of the school”, to ensure that every child we have in “our hand”, will leave school happy, with self-esteem, independence, tolerance, and with good experiences in how to participate in good commun-ities.
The bodily and artistic expressions - like sports, music, arts, cooking, drama, woodwork are very
important as tools in that work. Particular pupils with some academic problems in reading, calculate
etc., may have advantage in the more creative subjects. Skills, that made a significant difference for them. Instead of being excluded, they became a part of a community.
In Denmark skills as carpenter, plumber, electrician etc. are getting more and more attention, and the need for these skills is a major task for the school to attend, and foster.
Another major objective for us,is to “teach” our pupils, how important it is to know how people live in other countries. The corporation between various European schools, gives the children the experience, that there are differences, but also a lot of similarity amongst the children in other countries.
We would also very much like to give our pupils the opportunity to communicate in English with
pupils from foreign countries.
